Terms of service
These are the rules for using Projalo. We kept them as plain as we could.
These terms
These terms are an agreement between you and [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] ("we" or "us") for using Projalo. If you use Projalo for an organization, you're agreeing for that organization too, and you confirm you're allowed to.
Accounts and organizations
- You sign in with your email address. Keep access to it secure.
- Each organization has one owner. Owners and admins manage members, settings, extensions, connections and skills. Members use what's turned on.
- You're responsible for what happens under your account. Your organization is responsible for what happens in its workspace.
- You must be at least [MINIMUM AGE] to use Projalo.
Your content
You own your content. You give us permission to host, copy, process and show it only to run Projalo for you. That includes sending it to the service providers listed in our privacy policy.
When you publish a page, anyone with the link can read it. You decide what to publish and you're responsible for it.
Acceptable use
Don't use Projalo to:
- break the law or someone else's rights;
- send spam or unwanted email through project inboxes;
- upload malware, or try to get into data or accounts that aren't yours;
- overload, probe or reverse engineer the service;
- make content with AI features that's illegal or harmful.
We can suspend access that breaks these rules. Where it makes sense, we'll tell you first.
AI features
- AI features are optional. Projalo works without them.
- AI can be wrong or incomplete. Check its work before you rely on it, send it or publish it.
- Patch and skills only work with the access they're given. Findings and approvals are suggestions for a person to decide on.
- If your organization uses its own AI provider key, its agreement with that provider applies and the provider bills you directly.
- AI credits from us: [PLACEHOLDER: credit terms, including fees, refunds and whether credits expire]
Skills you build
Projalo doesn't come with skills. You build your own, and Patch can help draft them. You're responsible for a skill's instructions, what it's allowed to do and checking what it produces. Your approvals, edits and resolved findings shape how your skills work. A skill only changes when someone in your organization publishes a new version.
AI app connector (MCP)
The AI app connector is off until an admin turns it on. An AI app you connect, like Claude or ChatGPT, acts as you, with your permissions. That app's own terms apply, and you're responsible for what you let it do.
Email, Slack and other connections
Email sent to a project inbox goes into that project's chat. Admins can connect services like Slack or Notion. Make sure you have the right to send, receive and share that content. Connected services have their own terms, and we're not responsible for them. Admins can turn connections off at any time.
Plans and billing
- Plans and prices: [PLACEHOLDER: plans and prices, linked to the pricing page once final]
- Paid plans are billed through Stripe [BILLING PERIOD AND SEAT RULES]. Prices don't include taxes unless we say so.
- Renewal and cancellation: [PLACEHOLDER: auto-renewal, how to cancel and when cancellation takes effect]
- Refunds: [PLACEHOLDER: refund policy]
- Changing plans or a failed payment doesn't delete your data.
Ending your use
You can stop using Projalo at any time. [PLACEHOLDER: how to export data and delete an account or organization] We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken, or if the law requires it. Where it makes sense, we'll give notice first.
Changes to Projalo
We keep improving Projalo, so features may change. [PLACEHOLDER: uptime or support commitments, if any]
Disclaimers
Projalo is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, we don't make promises beyond what these terms say, including about AI output. [COUNSEL TO DRAFT]
Limitation of liability
[COUNSEL TO DRAFT: liability cap and excluded damages]
Indemnity
[COUNSEL TO DRAFT, OR REMOVE]
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW]. Disputes will be handled in [VENUE, OR ARBITRATION TERMS].
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top. For bigger changes we'll give [NOTICE PERIOD] notice by [NOTICE METHOD].
